This beautiful lute table has a very simple and clean form and construction. The entire structure consists of only three panels of wood. These three panels are held together by dovetails. The leg panels are decorated with relief carvings of the symbol of longevity - Lingzi. Towards the bottom part of the legs is the cusped "Kumen" which is an indication of the table's Northern origin.
