A pair of rectangular shaped
stools. The seat is made of woven cowhide
framed in mitered tenon and mortise members.
The legs are recessed and connected to the
seat in elongated bridle joints. The aprons
and spandrels are simple and undecorated. A
stretcher is added between the legs to
strengthen the construction. Some of the
original thin lacquer finish can still be
seen. The four corner edges show signs of
wear and tear.
