This cabinet derives from the classical tapered style. The top slightly hangs over the body frame and the body is recessed. The front is decorated with open fret work. The elongated begonia decoration on the low section of the doors is traditional and often seen in Northern Chinese furniture. The apron is simple and undecorated. The cabinet has been preserved in great condition.
