This pair of
red lacquered chests still retains its
original thick lacquer finishes in excellent
condition. The door panels are decorated
with rectangular shaped metalware. The edges
of the doors are beaded. The doors have
extended dowels which rest in the built-in
slots on either side and can be easily
detached
